Everyday magic

Enchanted at first strike.

Whether you’re looking for a souvenir of a special moment or for the classic practical source of fire: Matches are cultural assets and are the perfect way to burn yourself into your customer’s memory with a dash of “everyday magic”. This is especially true these days, when physical experiences are becoming increasingly rare.

Advertising that you can feel with all your senses has become a rare exception in the digital age. This is precisely what makes promotional items such as matches so effective: After all, not every form of advertising can justifiably claim to be extraordinary. You don’t have to be a pyromaniac to gain something from this fire giving magic wand. In fact, it is not only their practical use, but often also particularly high-quality packaging that makes them popular souvenirs – especially if the box or book is also reminiscent of a great customer experience.

For our guests, staying with us is an absolutely unparalleled experience. They like to take something home with them.

A cultural asset

The match and the search for the philosopher’s stone

On closer inspection, the contents of a matchbox are fascinating. Did you know, for example, that the origins of the match lie in the search for the legendary Philosopher’s Stone? German alchemist Hennig Brand discovered a combustible substance in 1669, which he called “cold fire,” and was convinced that he could make gold out of it. These days, Brand’s discovery is commonly known as phosphorus. Still, even though no magical effect can be proven, it has been making matches ignite as if by magic for almost 200 years.

The hair burning technique at the end is a great show for our customers. That’s when matches make the perfect business card!

Gold for your business

Even though matches and their packaging have little in common with precious metals, they still make a shiny impression in many ways – not only as souvenirs and rustic lighters, but also as storage boxes, objets d’art, collector’s items or puzzle game pieces. With their long history as a cultural asset, matches are ideal promotional items that connect businesses and their customers in a way that is unique in modern marketing. The result is gold for your business: Advertising that people remember.

Sustainability

Sustainability to go: our matches.

Wood, cardboard, paper – matches are not only effective promotional carriers, but also a sustainable statement.

They are used.

The more useful a promotional product is, the more people like to use it. Matches are practical everyday companions that everyone can use – whether for candles, the camping stove, barbecue or fireplace.

They are made from sustainable resources.

Wood, cardboard, paper: all renewable raw materials. For production, for example, we use wood from EU forestry or paper made from 50% green waste from Bavarian meadows.

They are of high quality.

Our matches comply with DIN EN 1783, which means they are tear- and break-resistant and have a defined burning time and flame height. Of course, they meet all ecological normative requirements.

They are manufactured in Europe.

Most of the raw materials are sourced in Europe, where production also takes place. The transport routes are therefore relatively short and thus also protect the environment.

They are available in particularly sustainable versions.

Chlorine-free bleached natural paper, recycled paper or material with FSC® certification*: Our components can be selected according to high sustainability standards – environmentally conscious and biodegradable.

* Our license number is FSC® C106855.
